UEFA and Disney created Playmakers, Europe's largest program for girls that aims to empower them to take the first step on their football journey through the magical world of imagination. Serbia is one of the seven countries where Playmakers will be introduced this year.

What is Playmakers?

Playmakers is a sports activity like no other. It is intended for girls aged five to eight and provides a fun and safe way to get to know football through movement, play, and the magic of Disney storytelling. The program aims to empower girls to be healthy and confident, make friends, learn important life skills, and fall in love with football.

Playmakers uses the latest research on the environment and coaching approach in which girls learn best and enjoy sports. It is designed to allow girls to experience football for the first time through the charm of Disney, in an environment specially created for them. Each ten-week curriculum will tell a different Disney story with participants who will reproduce a part of the movie story during each training session. The first training block within the program is inspired by the Disney hit movie – The Incredibles 2.
